If you have made it to this page, hello! Thank you for reading. My name is Olivia Pompeo and I am the founder and designer behind Lazy Sunday Swimwear. I grew up in a small beach town on the south shore of MA, so some of my best memories were on the beach, in a bikini. Since I was a little girl, I loved being creative with fashion and drawing. This eventually lead to me attending school for fashion merchandising in 2013. I learned so much and really felt like I was exactly where I belonged. Once I graduated, I worked in retail for a couple more years, but I really wanted to feel passionate about what I was doing again. With all the change that took place in the world, I felt there was no better time than the present to embark on a new journey. Having an excitement for swimwear made the choice easy for me. I had been sketching swimwear designs for years just waiting for the day where I would take action, and it finally felt right.

A big part of my decision to offer sustainable swimwear came from everything I learned in school. I took classes on sustainability in fashion, and learned all of the ugly things no one wants to face about the industry. This pulled me to make sustainability our mission. We are ethically manufactured by a lovely group of women, and use sustainable practices from the time the fabric is made, to the time the swimsuit lands on your doorstep.
