Our beautiful high quality fabric is made in Italy. It was very important for us to use a sustainable option for our swimwear fabric because of the environmental harm that the fashion industry has on our planet. Carvico VITA is made up of ECONYL® (regenerated nylon), and LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ (high performance elastane). It is twice as resistant to chlorine and suntan oils/creams than competitors' fabrics. This means it will last for many seasons to come.

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is a product of Aquafil, a global leader in the synthetic fibres industry and a pioneer in quality, innovation and sustainability. It turns waste problems into fashion by regenerating post consumer materials from our oceans and landfills. It's exactly the same as brand new nylon and can be recycled, recreated and remoulded again and again.
